Middle school issues ban on intentional flatulence

Not to be outdone by the drug dealer hiding crack in his crack (see previous post) some middle school boys in Camden, TN found themselves in trouble too.
FartNot

VillageSoup/Knox County Times Senior Reporter Holly S. Anderson
CAMDEN (Feb 1): The Merriam Webster Dictionary definition for flatulence is brief: "flatus expelled through the anus." And while it's a natural bodily function, it seems some Camden-Rockport Middle School eighth-grade boys are taking it to new heights and making a game of seeing who can expel the loudest and grossest flatus.

okay, I am an 8th grade girl who goes to Camden Rockport Middle School. Here is the real story.
ALl of the girls in our grade were starting to get really annoyed at the guys for farting all the time. So me and my friend went to see the guidence counsolor (Ms.Pleas) and told her that we wanted the teachers to do something about it. SO our science techer (Mr.Laroche) talked to all of the boys about how "un cool" farting was.
Then two of the girls in our grade randomly decided that they wanted to start a newsleter for only the 8th graders. So they took about 5 minutes to put this paper together, and print it out, then pass it out to all of the kids in our grade. They had the information wrong. Farting wasn't baned from our school. All it was, was a warning to the guys that if they didn't stop the farting, they were going to do something about it. Fortunately the farting has calmed down, and this news is getting old. But, the women who wrote that article on Villagesoup.com was competely wrong!! She interviewed 7th graders, who had nothing to do with the 8th graders farting. WE do not have any classes with 7th graders, so they should never have been involved. Now you know what realyl happened. If you have any questions e-mail me at

Thank you for listening.

Thank you for adding a comment from one that was there. If you noticed the only commentary I had was to indicate the boys "found themselves in trouble...". This is all over the internet with every one of them linking to the villagesoup posting. So the proper place to make sure your explanation might be seen by all viewing article on villagesoup would be to add your commentary to that article there on villagesoup. I went there and there has not been the first comment so if you go there yours will be the first and obviously be the one everyone will see.

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy.’ They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.~ John Lennon
